This year we had to celebrate Christmas in a different way. Over three weeks our clients, staff and volunteers brought the Christmas spirit, fun and laughter to Coffs Harbour Golf Club for a magnificent feast. Due to the Covid19 current restrictions we were unable to have everyone together but that didn’t stop us from having a good time.
It was great to see old friends being reunited and new clients being welcomed by our volunteers and staff joining in the group outing fun. We had a special appearance from Santa and Mrs Claus bringing along the Christmas Cheer.
We also celebrated the volunteers and a few milestones that they reached. The volunteers have been amazing through this difficult time really stepped up their game, completing extra training in infection control, taking extra precautions, changing the way we deliver our services to keep our clients safe. A special shout out goes to the following volunteers who reached 5 and 10 years of service this year:
