The Linked to Life team loves a reason to party! We currently have 72 volunteers who provide a variety of tasks according to their individual preferences. This could be to assist an older person with shopping, banking, getting to appointments or having lunch or a cuppa somewhere nice. This is known as social support one on one. Otherwise some volunteers prefer to help on our many group outings which include bus trips, Interest groups or our monthly Information sessions.
Each year we celebrate our volunteer’s contribution to Linked to Life services and this year is no different with the following volunteers receiving a well-earned badge for service:
5 years: Martin, Jeanette and Marg

15 years: Julie
20 years: Jan
Come and join the Linked to Life team! We offer opportunities to meet like-minded people (such as yourself!) who genuinely enjoy spending time with older people in the community.
